Unicorn & Co offers quiet, private sessions with our much-loved animals in the Yarra Valley. These sessions are designed for people who want something gentle, beautiful and a little bit magical, without the noise and chaos of a large party or public event.
You can meet and spend time with one of our unicorn ponies, enjoy a calm farm animal encounter, or book a fantasy-style photo session with unicorns, goats, mules, dogs or other suitable animal friends.
By appointment only. No drop-ins. No riding. Small groups only.
Private Unicorn Encounter
A quiet, no-riding session for anyone who would love to meet a real unicorn pony.
This session may include:
- meeting and patting a unicorn pony
- gentle brushing
- time for phone photos
- a calm, supervised animal experience
- optional farm friends if suitable on the day
Session length: 30 minutes
Best for: animal lovers, birthdays, gifts, gentle children, adults, families, couples, homeschool visits and anyone who loves unicorns
Price: $150 for up to 2 people
Extra guests: $20 each

A short outdoor photo session with one of our unicorn ponies or selected animal friends.
This is a lovely option for birthdays, fantasy portraits, author photos, couples, families, fairy costumes, special memories, gifts, or anyone who wants beautiful images with animals.
This session includes:
- a private animal photo session
- one unicorn pony or selected animal setup
- gentle posed and candid photos
- 5 edited digital images
Session length: 30 minutes
Includes: 5 edited digital images
Price: $295Extra edited images may be available to purchase after the session.
Fantasy Portrait Session
For people who want something more creative, styled or storybook-inspired.
These sessions are suited to adults, older children, creatives, fantasy lovers, authors, cosplayers, couples and families who want a more polished portrait experience.
This may include:
- unicorn pony portraits
- fantasy farm animal portraits
- costume-friendly sessions
- creative editing options
- more time for posing and variety
- a more polished final gallery
Session length: 60–90 minutes
Includes: 8 edited digital images
Starting from: $495Final price depends on the concept, animals involved, styling and editing required.
Optional Farm Friends
We share our property with a small group of much-loved animals. Depending on the day, the weather, the animals and the guests, there may be the option to include some of our other farm friends.
These may include:
- friendly goats
- little mules
- experienced photo-shoot dogs
- other suitable animal friends
Animal interactions are always supervised and depend on safety, animal comfort and suitability for the guests.
Please let us know when booking if anyone is nervous around dogs, allergic to dogs, or would prefer the dogs kept away during the visit.

These are not large party sessions or high-energy public events. Sessions are private, calm and supervised.
Safety & Animal Welfare
Animal welfare comes first at every session.
Activities may change depending on weather, ground conditions, animal comfort and guest safety. If an animal is not comfortable on the day, we will adjust the session.
For safety:
- sessions are by appointment only
- no drop-ins
- no riding
- closed-toe shoes are required
- children must be supervised by a parent/carer
- no running, shouting or chasing animals
- feeding animals is only allowed if we provide and supervise it
- dogs can be kept away if needed
We are insured, first aid trained, and hold a current Working with Children Check.
When Sessions Are Available
Sessions are available on selected weekend daylight spots.
Because sessions are outdoors and photo quality depends on light and weather, winter session times are usually between:
10:00 am and 3:00 pm on selected Saturdays and Sundays
Weekday sessions may be available by arrangement during school holidays or by special request.
